I'm still here, and I still colour Lego!

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the website, but working with Lego magazine, we do things a looooooong time ahead. So different than comics where I literally once saw a book printed not 2 weeks after I was done with colours… Anyway, updated the site with a few cover colours done last year for Lego Batman & Ninjago comics, and a few interiors of Lego Hidden Side, all done again with InkBubble Studios and published by Blue Ocean in all of Europe. Hard to get those magazines over here, but I will eventually get a German edition so I can at least play with the toys! YAY!

Lego Hidden Side Colours!

Well, if you know me, you know I love Lego so when I got offered by Ink Bubble Studio’s Joel Poischen the gig of colouring his upcoming stint for the new Lego Hidden Side magazine, I couldn’t resist! Publisher’s in Germany, and these are available mostly in Europe but stil, Lego… I mean, come on! Lego! :)

Tinkerbell with a twist!

Happy New Year to all!

Here’s a little something from the European side of my work. It was done with Régis Loisel for a French Comic Festival last August. I did both the colours and graphic design, and since we created both a portrait and landscape version, I thought I’d share both.

Should have another nice news for an upcoming project with Régis as well, coming in 2019. Stay tuned!

Logo Design for Far Cry 5: DLCs

Recently, as in for the last year or so, I acted as Art Director on a Studio Lounak gig with Ubisoft for the recently released Far Cry 5 DLC games where we did both the promo posters and motion comics intro for the actual games. Along with creating the drawn content and art for both the posters and animation, we were mandated to create logos for each games inspired by older comic book style and old pulp novel/sci-fi magazine designs. Had a blast doing them, so I decided to share and add a logo design gallery to the website.

I’m not posting all of them, I did do a whole bunch, but just a few from each DLC that I kinda liked better. In the end, Ubisoft decided to go their own way and have a more unified look to it, but these were used as inspiration for the final product.

Site launch!

Well, haven’t had a website in a while. Actually, haven’t had an official one since the day I forgot to renew my domain and simply lost it to greedy people who are now trying to get thousands of dollars from me…if they only knew how I don’t have thousands of dollars…jokes on them! Ha!

That being said, I thought I needed a little online presence after years of working in the shadows, honing new skills and perfecting old ones, so here I am! I’ll try and update from time to time, to keep the 2 of you (or is it just 1 now?…) following my work in the know of where and what I’m doing right now.

So, if you’re interested in what I do, or if you find yourself with nothing much to do, keep an eye on this new site!

Thanks all!
